The highest point of Saint-Émilion. Its vineyard has a privileged location and its soils and microclimate are similar to those of the Pavie area. Since its purchase in 2017, by the reinsurer Scor, the management of this first growth has been entrusted to Aymeric de Gironde, who came straight from Cos d’Estournel. The changes implemented in 2017 are above all adjustments to the date of harvest and vinification to bring more freshness to the cru’s constitution. After three years of work, the new gravitational cellar with its clean lines, built high up, allows for greater precision in all technical gestures.
