Taittinger is one of the last Champagne houses of such a size that remains independent and family owned. The family has strong values, such as authenticity, heritage, excellence & commitment to its consumers. Taittinger owns 288 hectares of vineyard, mostly in the Grand Cru and 1er Cru areas. They are the 2nd most important vineyard of Champagne.

For more than a century, four generations, the family spirit has been the soul of this House, which is entirely rooted in the Champagne landscape. The Taittinger story is certainly exemplary in terms of respect and commitment. Vitalie, Pierre-Emmanuel and Clovis Taittinger are the worthy actors, guardians of the name and its prestigious history. Surrounded by a loyal and highly qualified team, Damien Le Sueur General Manager and Alexandre de Ponnavoy Cellar Master in particular, Vitalie took over from her father at the head of the presidency on 1 January 2020. Taittinger has become, from the 288 hectare vineyard certified as High Environmental Value to the elaboration of the cuvées, a fine model for Champagne and wine in general. All the wines – not only the most prestigious ones – are brilliant representatives of a classic Champagne school, based on an elegance that often relies on Chardonnay. Each cuvée also has its own personality, with at the top a prestigious white Comtes de Champagne, which is based solely on Chardonnays from five grands crus of the Côte des Blancs, and a majestic, captivating rosé Comtes de Champagne, on which great attention is paid for the future. These two wines stand the test of time and are splendidly nourished by it. From the Brut Réserve to the Cuvées Nocturne, via the Domaine Familial des Folies de La Marquetterie in Pierry, each cuvée in the range today offers a great deal of soul and life.
