チリで初めてのアイコンワイン「セーニャ」はアコンカグア・ヴァレーの地域でビオディナミ農法で栽培された葡萄を使ったユニークなボルドーブレンドのワインです。ワイナリーは、1995年にエドゥアルド・チャドウィックがナパ・ヴァレーのワイン業界のリーダーであるロバート・モンダヴィと共同で設立したのが始まりです。エドゥアルド・チャドウィックは、チリワイン業界初の国際共同事業として、ユニークなワインづくりに乗り出したのです。彼らは、チリが真に偉大な、世界クラスのワインを生産できることを示すため、このワインを「セーニャ（記号、サイン）」と名付けました。このチリのボルドースタイルのブレンドは、カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨンが骨格を示し、カルメネールがチリのテロワールの特徴を醸し出しています。
As Chile’s first icon wines, Seña is a unique Bordeaux blend made from biodynamically grown grapes in the region of Aconcagua Valley. The winery was originally founded in 1995 by Eduardo Chadwick in cooperation with the leader of the Napa Valley wine industry Robert Mondavi. Eduardo Chadwick, embarked upon the Chilean wine industry’s first international joint-venture to create a unique wine. They named it Seña, as a sign to the world that Chile was able to produce a truly great, world-class wine. This Chilean Bordeaux-style blend gets its structure from Cabernet Sauvignon, while the Carmenere gives it Chilean terroir-specific characteristics.
