Since 1986, Nadine and Yves Picant have been working wonders on this 40 hectare vineyard in the heart of the Sainte-Foy-Bordeaux appellation. Hostens-Picant has established itself as one of the best wines in the area. The wines benefit from the precious advice of Stéphane Derenoncourt, one of the best consultants in Bordeaux. Alongside the classic red cuvée, with its expressive suppleness, Lucullus is fleshy and spicy. The white is divided between Semillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle, which make up the blend of one of the most ambitious and successful Bordeaux wines: Les-Demoiselles. Both unctuous and dynamic, this wine for keeping is made for gastronomy; it can accompany fish as well as white meat.
